VISUALDARREL is a Toronto-based fashion and music photographer, filmmaker, and visual producer specializing in editorial, e-comm, runway, lifestyle, and campaign production. With a background in studio management and end-to-end visual production, he brings both creative direction and operational reliability to commissioned projects.
His work has been internationally published, including Vogue Italia, MOB Journal, L’Officiel US (among others), and he has served as a lead alt-runway photographer for Fashion Art Toronto and TOFW ‘SS24-25. Darrel has produced photography, motion content, and documentary-style visuals for fashion brands, music artists, and media platforms such as MediaPass.To, Toronto Rapstars, and TorontoFashion Network, contributing as a photographer, videographer, creative director, interview producer, editor, and host.

VISUALDARREL is a polymathic visual artist whose interdisciplinary practice spans fashion & music photography, cinematography, creative direction, and digital art. Rooted in a deep appreciation for aesthetic theory, cultural history, and narrative construction, his work explores the evocative potential of image-making across both contemporary and classical forms.
His artistic foundation was shaped through immersive apprenticeships within leading media platforms, model agencies, fine art galleries, and photography studios, environments that honed his eye for composition, light, and color, intersecting with the nuanced dynamics between subject and space. VISUALDARREL’s photographic oeuvre encompasses fashion (editorial, e-commerce, runway and lifestyle), documentation and commercial music imagery, rendered in both digital and analog formats, with a particular reverence for the tactility and emotive range of 35mm film photography.
As a filmmaker, he directs and produces music videos, fashion films, interviews and live event visuals that emphasize atmosphere, rhythm, and the ephemeral quality of performance. This cinematic approach is informed by a cross-disciplinary understanding of art history, painting, and musicality, elements which converge in his pursuit of layered, immersive storytelling. Parallel to his visual work, VISUALDARREL brings considerable expertise in digital media strategy, graphic design, and thematic branding, creating cohesive visual narratives across digital platforms.
