Had the lovely pleasure of taking some event BTS photos for the Saintly Wine summer activation at Fairgrounds, Assembly Park. Influencers and industry leaders attended and enjoyed some sparkling wines courtside in the summer heat under some lovely Saintly print umbrellas, while others networked with peers and bonded over a few friendly games of pickleball at Fairgrounds’ new location in Vaughan, ON. Pictures entail the day and the embrace of the summer vibes and the lovely people who came to enjoy and partake in this summer’s influencer activation event.

I recently did a photoshoot at Hadaki Studios up in North York, ON. I gotta say I was beyond impressed. This space has everything you need to create fun environments and build dreamworlds from scratch. Impressive set design geared for a professional finish be it mages or video, your audience will be enthralled by your creations here. There are about 6 sets, each with it’s own unique feel and design, also including professional lighting and interchangeable backdrops. Recommended for high end fashion projects or music videos. I rate this space 10/10.

After watching The Shining and Eyes Wide Shut back to back you can obviously tell that our boy was on something. The visuals are so visceral it digs at the soul. Set design looking like something out of AI, I’m impressed by his visual style. A big budget definitely helped. But the moral here is despite how amazing these movies are and the ones in the rest of his body of work, this guy was not in his right mind. If your mind can go to the dark abyss for the purposes of inspiration we know something is broken. But that something is what gave us these lovely movies and I recommend them if you need some mental gymnastics and your worldview has being too cozy for comfort. Watch this.
